Psycho-social Ahab

James` political depiction of Captain Ahab`s madness and mission, in my thoughts raised an equivalent state of mind that doesn`t necessary have the same background. This other kind of Captain Ahab is alone inside his head, loneliness opposed on him by his emotionally commanding role, and that is a tragedy in itself: lifetime has passed outside, while he has been locked inside. The tragedy continues: his loss of life-years and outside livings would not let him have anyone else in another position than his, but will have to make everybody else convinced by the same justice of his revenge -  if not, other ways to make them cooperate would also be considered and enacted. His revenge subject should not necessarily be so much that gigantic monster which symbolizes the reason to all his suffering, but might very well be the real reason of his suffering, meaning his suspended life themselves –  unfortunately but inevitably, together with some others` lives that to him aren`t really separated than his in this manner.  

Somehow I see that kind of captain`s fight as a war declared on Time. To indifference of time turned towards his life, he does not turn back his indifference, because this indifference itself is what makes him so mad. Instead he is trying to fill up two imaginary wishes, his and his enemy`s, with the same enthusiastic hatred. He won`t see that the only way to live with Time would be to let him remain the winner- otherwise you are lost inside your own, for Ever.
